Our Story
How We Met
Like any great modern romance, our story began with a dating app. We agreed to meet for drinks at Sunset Club on Plum Island in Newbury, MA on November 6, 2021, and decided to never end that first date! Claire snapped the above photo from that night :)
Why get married in Metamora, Illinois?
In case you somehow didn't know, Claire was born and raised in the midwest! Metamora is the hometown of her mother's side of the family, and Saint Mary's has been the family church for 4 generations. Yes, we will be the fifth generation to get married at St. Mary's, and we are so proud and excited to be part of this history for our families!
